How the review corpus on this site was collected and what guarantees apply to every quote.

This site’s review pages draw on a corpus of 1167 real customer reviews of Pup Choice products across Amazon, Chewy and pupchoice.com.

Guarantees:

1. Marketplace (Amazon/Chewy) reviews contribute aggregate statistics only — counts, averages and rating distributions. Their text is not republished, out of respect for marketplace terms and reviewers’ ownership of their words.
2. Verbatim quotes come exclusively from reviews submitted directly on pupchoice.com — no editing, paraphrasing or AI generation.
3. Every quote carries its source, date, reviewer first name and verified status; critical (≤3-star) reviews are included for balance.
4. Aggregate stats are computed over the full corpus for the product, not just the displayed quotes.
5. Live Amazon star ratings shown on product pages come from a daily automated check of our own listings.
